Rosedale Simona Narelle Wockner Photography

This lovely young mare is the progeny of two very successful parents imported from the U.K.   Her sire is our boy Pendley Gold Cup* who has his own page here on our website.   Her dam Colbeach Simone*  (Rosslyn Elfin Play  x  Willowbay Symphony) was shown successfully in the UK before being imported to Australia.   In 2000 Simone was  Grand National Large Pony, Champion Pony at Canberra Royal and Champion Childs Pony at Melbourne Royal.   In hand she was Champion Youngstock at the Royal International Horse Show as a 2yo, and in September 2002 at Adelaide Royal shown as a broodmare, she went all the way through to Supreme Champion Riding Pony.

Rosedale Simona has been sashed Supreme Riding Pony at Toowoomba and Adelaide Royals. At the recent Northern New South Wales Show Horse Championships she was awarded Reserve Champion Led Riding Pony and Runner Up Open Large Pony of the Year.   This last win has secured a berth for her at the 2011 Grand Nationals.   Laura Baguley was overcome at the championships with her win and thanked Greg Gerry and Darren Telford (Whitmere Stud) for leasing her their beautiful brown mare.

Good luck Laura and Leah.   May more wins come your way.

Thanks Leah. She’s such a beautiful young mare and so well bred. I know you’ll have a ton of fun and success with her.
