The plans of mice and men! Our small thoroughbred mare Miss Centastage had waxed up beautifully on Tuesday night (Mind you she was due today – the 20th). We tested the foaling alarm – check, placed it on her and moved into the guest bedroom ( the one closest to the foaling paddock). We slept beautifully and woke up to a dear little filly foal obviously a few hours old. The alarm didn’t go off!!!! Sire is our boy Pendley Gold Cup*. Both mare and filly doing well.
She was born on Terry’s aunts birthday and her paddock name is Daphne after his aunt. Daphne is very active in the mare box with mum. She is bay with a large star, snip and three socks – a pretty little girl. When she fills out I will post photos.

How wonderful Leonie,
HOw many do you have foaling at home this season?
Lovely time of year isn’t it?
My babies are due much later thankfully as the weather here is horrendous.
XXSusy
This is our one and only Susy and she’s beautiful. The mare is a small thoroughbred with a dainty head and dad is Gold Cup.
We have Gold Cup at home with us to collect semen, join with our mares, send out chilled semen and then go down to Greg and Darren in Victoria. We firmly believe he will be a great asset in the pony dressage world. His movement is sensational.
Good luck to you with your girls this season. x
HI Leonie
She sounds lovely cant wait to see pics
