Brookville Stud announces the sale of the ten month old filly Brookville Golden Globe – stable name “Ellie” – to Lesley Paxton – Raleigh Riding Ponies. When Matt Lee visited our stud earlier this year to pick up a broodmare he saw this flashy youngster. She was still on her mum at the time. She took Matt’s eye and he went home and hasn’t stopped talking about her to me since then. Monday evening last Matt phoned to say Lesley Paxton – Raleigh Riding Ponies - wanted her and she was sold. Miss Centastage has done a tremendous job raising her youngster and now the weaning process is well and truly over “Ellie” looks a million dollars. She is proving to be easy to handle and has a lovely quiet temperament inherited from both her sire and lovely dam. Her movement is sensational and she will “dress up” nearly jet black, with three socks and a lovely sized star and snip.
