It’s always sad news when you hear of the loss of a pony and this little mare Silkwood Heavens Chalice, known to those who loved her as “Candy” is no exception. “Candy” in her short time in the show ring secured fabulous wins including Champion Small Pony Sydney and Perth Royals and class winner and Reserve Champion Small Pony at Adelaide Royal. Annabel Drexel rode her beautifully. She was found earlier this month in her paddock and one can only hope she didn’t suffer. She has left an exquisite filly foal to continue her both parents winning ways.
